Happy Chinese New Year 2024
Dear Scoties,
Wish you a Happy and Prosperous Dragon Year ahead in 2024.
Many of you still may be enjoying the Chinese New Year and we hope this message reaches you at the right time. In 2023, we had successfully completed all our committed social activities and charity events. In early January, we had just handed over all the charity projects in Chiang Rai. Thanks to all your unwavering support, especially the sponsors and participants to make this event possible. More interesting events are in the pipeline as we had just rounded up our last Exco meeting and we definitely look forward to seeing your active participation soon.
On 2nd March 2024, we shall be organising our 1st event for 2024, i.e. the 40th AGM cum CNY Celebrations and we also look forward to seeing all of you again. I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I would step down as the President of SCOT in this upcoming AGM to pursue my personal work commitments. It was indeed my great pleasure to serve all of you throughout the year 2023, although it had been a very hectic year for me to balance my own business together with volunteering in the SCOT activities. Nevertheless, for me it is another great experience gained!
My sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the SCOT Exco members, sponsors, STCC, affiliated chambers, Singapore Embassy, Singapore Global Network, friends, etc. for all your support and kind assistance during my tenure in SCOT. Hope to see and meet all of you in one of the SCOT events in future.
